Hi Forum,
You may all know this already , if so apologies.....Just been watching tv program called Air Warriors here in the UK and as they showed the cockpit of a E6-A Growler aircraft I was shocked to see an AOR 3000 fitted next to a radar scope ?
I think this aircraft was used for jamming communications of the enemy ? Picture attached , look just to right of blue scope....

Thanks,
Kev

From what I know AOR is delivering their solutions to government and military customers - most probably they make majority of their profit there and this is the reason why the simply do not care at all about amateurs like us...

Here is the picture of AR6000 and DV1 "being used by peace keeping forces in the Middle-East, for an effective interception and decoding of analog and digital signals. " (from official AOR page).

I recall many years ago seeing many AOR scanners in government use. The AOR One was and still is an awesome small scanner for field use. Other companies have added them and others into the Hydra (not to be confused with the L3 Comms Hydra remote control head) V3 radio direction finding kits as well. However, I can't find much of this documentation any longer. There was also a handheld AOR scanner that could be mounted with a round antenna, which would both then be connected to the top of an M-4 carbine, searching for radios, while showing and azimuth to "target".

The AR DV1 in the pic on left side, must have been one with a good usb socket. I hear a lot of chat on the forum about some that has faults listing serial numbers. What is the model of radio on the right that the laptop is sitting on?
