Mingo Valley Downpour

In reference to the sudden and isolated downpour (5.0" in an hour) over the airport and zoo, isn't this a nearly identical weather incident that caused the 1984(?) Memorial Day flood? I think the only difference is that that incident was centered a little to the south (244 and Mingo?)

I'm I remember things correctly?
