I have a Minitor 5 and my department has two sets of tones. One is for EMS only and the other is an All Call. The conmpany that originally set up the pagers has set the alerts as different for wach tone that is sent. I am wondering if there is anyone in the southern NH/MA even southern ME are that is able to change the programming in these pagers?? I have also been told there are several alert types to choose from, and some very user selectable programming available to a minitor 5 user. My chief and I are also having problems with the volume being extremely loud no matter what we do. I used to sleep with my minitor 2 on monitor, and it was soft enough not to keep everyone awake, but loud enough that the tones woudl wake me up. I can not do that with the 5 as it is just to freakin loud. any help would be appreciated.
