A lifeguard helicopter is being sent to search for a missing skier in a high avalance zone. Not sure of location yet-dispatch on 130.150 Adkad

Lake County Search and Rescue saved 5 hikers who got stranded Friday on Saturday morning. The 5 were hiking from the 10th Mountain Division hut to the Uncle Bud hut when they got stranded. Lake county SAR was called on Friday night, and on Saturday morning they got on snowmobiles and started to search. At 10:30 they called in Flight for Life and were able to locate the 5 within the hour. Amazingly NONE of them needed hospitalization as they were well prepared and because each of the 5 had Search and Rescue cards (which cost 6 bucks) they will not have to pay the costs of the rescue.
