Hello,

Does anybody know what type of receiver the MOH uses in ambulance bases to receive base pages?

Thanks

Sorry if I was unclear. I am referring to the paging systems that are installed in the ambulance stations and provide paging alerts via overhead speaker.

Yes the 149.4400 mhz is the pager frequency that is used for the pagers that District EMS carry with them.

Each EMS station has a different code programmed into it same as the pagers for alerting them for a call.

The 149.4400 mhz frequency is also simulucasted on the UHF frquencys too

-414.2875 Niagara
-410.8375-Halton
-414.7125-Peel
-410.6375-Simcoe/York

Although, unknown of what types of Base Paging units / Manufactures being used.
The base paging units are used similar if not the same as belt/hip worn pagers.

This does not include TEMS as they are on a commercial 900mhz pocsag system
