Monitor Calls with screen off

Is their a way to monitor a calls Playlist with the phone screen turned off? My galaxy won't continue to autoplay if the screen shuts off.

Is their a way to monitor a calls Playlist with the phone screen turned off? My galaxy won't continue to autoplay if the screen shuts off.

I believe it depends on the app you are using, some of my apps do continue to play audio when screen turns off others do not. As far as I can tell, there is no setting in the phone or app that changes the way it plays when screen is off.

My Firefox browser on Android does play audio from the calls platform when the phone screen is off.

OK great thanks. I use chrome browser on my galaxy phone but will try Firefox for calls

On Chrome go into App info ->Battery->set for "unrestricted"


Then "pin" the app to always be open the background.
Follow this guide to "pin " an app on Android.

You can also add Chrome to the "Never Auto Sleeping Apps" List.

OP: I tried the suggestions above and it seems to work well on my Galaxy S23
