MONOC Control All Systems Down

Reporting all systems are down at this time. All calls will be dispatched via Radio or on their Nextel system. Unknown time until systems will be back up and running at this time. Details on assignments will be broadcasted over the air instead of via the CAD.

I thought you ment their ALS units in the north were out of service again due to weather. Because it wasn't safe.

There was no mention of any UNITS being OUT OF SERVICE and no mention of NORTH or SOUTH. The OP stated that MONOC CONTROL (Dispatch) ALL SYSTEMS were DOWN. Two totally different scenarios.

I would say that all systems were down last State of Emergency Unless you would call it something else.

I would call systems, as in radio communications, and ALS units, which you mentioned in your original post, two completely different things.

The systems that were down was the CAD system that they use to send a job from the dispatch center to the MDT in the rig's. So therefore Dispatch had to relay important job details that would normally be sent through the CAD, over the air to the responding rig(s) etc. Though in some instances where privacy and other factors are in play they will use their Nextel system to communicate to the rig(s) or just have each unit call into control for their assignment or vice versa.
