I'm guessing 158.355 is no longer just a simulcast of 33.70. It is being used for dispatch on all low band companies and has been assigned a PL of 136.5. Reception is also noticeably different, very clear, and strong!!

Occasionally, I can pick that freq up in Downingtown, just south of the Amtrak ROW. Can't seem to pick it up in West Chester, though...

Still, it's interesting to see MontCo wean itself off of lowband. Anyway, is the plan still to go to East and West VHF dispatch channels?

They really have no choice...the FCC is going to do away with low band for Public Safety in the not too distant future.
I believe East will continue to use 154.1300, PL 136.5, 154.3700, PL 136.5, and 154.4450, PL 136.5 for Cheltenham. Not sure East will remain on these freqs but I believe the plan is to stick with it for now. West will use 158.355, PL 136.5.
