Good Day To All,

I am updating some of my frequency lists for around the state, and using the Database, I have noted that Monterey County Fire is on TX/154.370, RX/156.105, w/CTCSS 146.2; and Salinas with TX/154.205, RX/156.105, w/CTCSS 146.2.

If I am reading this correctly, Monterey Co. and Salinas have the same TX and CTCSS. Is this correct? Wouldn't this cause all kinds of issues?

I appreciate the assist . . .

Hrm, my records show 154.995 for the input to Salinas FD. I think the DB might be wrong. Can one of our Monterey Co listeners confirm?

I would change alot of stuff on their and add more but?????

If you've got additions/changes, please submit them to the database. I've updated Salinas Fire with the appropriate input frequency.

Thanks.

Thanks Kirk - that was fast. I can't speak for anybody else, but as a professional, I do use the database whenever I travel around the state to reference other Departments and what they are using, especially VHF.

It has become a very valuable tool to me . . .

Don't forget fire blue witch is use on Monterey peninsula cites. I also forgot to mention fire red has 5 repeaters also .I don't know the PL tones for inputs, but I know RED 5 is 146.2 that's the main site that covers most of the county. That also goes for Fire gold for Carmel Valley that has 4 repeaters. FYI

OK - I am really NOT trying to be a pain, but . . .

Could someone look at the Monterey County database. Now Salinas is correct, i.e. 154.205/154.995. However, in looking up the Blue frequencies mentioned above, I find this under Monterey, City of: 153.890/154.995, PL/146.2. Anything there look familiar?

I'm getting confused . . .

I'll spend some time over the next week going through my notes on Monterey County, and post stuff here before I edit the database. Hopefully the listeners up there can help verify the data.

I'll get a list from my buddy that works for the county dispatch. But in the meantime post up your notes and i'll see witch ones are outdated so we can edit it.

Let's start with Sheriff:

Description Output Input Tone
Operations, Primary 159.090 155.730 114.8
Operations, Secondary 158.910 155.595 146.2
Sheriff Tactical 1 155.910 146.2
Sheriff Tactical 2 155.970 146.2
Sheriff Reserves 155.160 146.2
Mutual Aid CLEMARS 154.920 146.2
Sheriff Salinas Jail 159.210 155.190 146.2
District Attorney Tactical 158.970 146.2

Primary & Secondary have multiple input tones for different mountaintops, but we don't track that info here on RR. Any updates/comments/corrections?
