THIS IS SUPPOSED TO TAKE EFFECT BY THE END OF THIS YEAR OR VERY EARLY 2007!

Second Alarmers will be taking delivery of the 11th and 12 th Ambulance, so the current numbering system will not handle the additional units.

So, Second Alarmers has agreed, along with the EDS, to change the station numbers.

380 - Will identify all Officers and Utility, Special Service, Rescue and Marine units

381 - Willow Grove Station

382 - Elkins Park Station

383 - Weldon Station

384 - Hatboro Station

385 - Whitpain Station

386 - Float Truck

387 - Reserved (for future use)

388 - Reserved

389 - Reserved

Whitpain? Would that be a new station? As I recall, Whitpain Twp was covered by Plymouth (308) with portions covered by Ambler (351).

Perhaps a station at the south eastern end of Whitpain towards the Dresher area...who knows. I wouldn't be surprised if they put a station on the moon!!
