Montgomery County RACES

Hello fellow scanners. On the website nf2g.com under Montgomery County Public Safety / Disaster Emergency Management there is the frequency 147.195 MHZ (CSQ). The title for this frequency is Montgomery County RACES. Does anyone know what this frequency is and if so what is it used for. What kind of radio transmissions could I expect to hear on this frequency. Please let me know.

It's an amateur radio repeater, which you would hear routine traffic on, unless there is an emergency or drill where ARES/RACES is activated. This is provided that the repeater is still up and working. I am unable to access it from my station at home, but I am not sure if that is because it is out of service or something else.

I can confirm the repeater is active, I was able to bring it up yesterday while mobile.
