I remember I used to get EMS dispatches on 46.04 a few months back. Now that seems to be silent. Was this shut off. Also looking in the database, I see some of the fire zones and towns listed do not correspond with their antenna locations. I would have to guess there have been some changes of late. So which rebroadcasts are still active and which ones are silent. Also is there a rebroadcast for EMS hailing? How about police?

46.04 is still active. All of the fire repeaters listed in the DB are active also. There are no repeaters for any of the PD's. Some PD's use a local VHF channel, but that's about it.

Some PDs use local VHF channels? Thats interesting. Do you know which ones. Most townships in Montgomery county are listed for these in the database, so I would have to go through every one and put them on my scanner. Its good to know that 46.04 is still active. Thanks.

Montgomery Twp PD still operates solely on VHF...they are one of two departments that hasn't switched to 800...not sure why. Dispatch: 155.6100, PL 123.0, Data/Info: 154.9950, PL 123.0, TAC: 158.7750, PL 123.0 or 107.2 (Some places have it listed as one or the other, not 100% sure which TAC PL is correct.)

The other sole user of Non-800 is Plymouth PD. Primary: 453.8750, PL 156.7, Data/Info: 453.5250, PL 156.7, Ch. 3/TAC: 453.5750, PL 156.7.

Hatfield sometimes utilizes 155.3100, PL 107.2.

Lansdale greatly uses, Primary: 155.6400, PL 107.2, and TAC: 155.535, PL 107.2.

Upper Merion is encrypted digital, but often makes use of a conventional channel. 858.4125, PL 123.0.

That's about it...most other departments are on the 800 system. Some PD's will occasionally use their township/Public Works freqs, but that is generally pretty scattered and infrequent.

Enjoy!!

Thank you many times over {:>D Wow, I didn't know that some police still use conventionals. I thought for sure that I lost Plymouth PD to an encrypted TGID on the TRS.

You're quite welcome. Plymouth does have a digital TG ID assigned to them...they may switch at some point. Don't know if it will be encrypted or not.

All the new digital police talkgroups and any new digital portables purchased in the county are capable of encryption.
