The Midair refueling tracks map we have linked on the Wiki on George F.'s site is from 2003; surely there's been some changes since then. Apart from the FLIP, does anyone know of a more up to date map? I'd really like to be able to put that in as a link, rather than to something so dated.

That link provides not only the refueling tracks/map (Beginning at internal document paragraph 4-1 or PDF document page 485-486) but also the specifics for all those special IR/SR/VR routes we hear the military aircraft fly. The refueling track map looks to be just about the same as what has been floating around on various sites for the past couple of years. It should since everyone copies this official document. Good link Jack.

I could never get this to download on my pokey dialup, but my work PC is far faster - at 600 pages, it's no wonder (ouch!). I've corrected the link on the wiki. I could burn it to a CD, tho....hmmm...73s Mike

With all the links listed on the web for AR refueling tracks, I have yet to see any mention of track AR-777. I know McGuire uses it almost on a daily basis. I believe it is somewheres off the coast of Long Island, NY. They often mention "777" or "AR777". They even use specific frequencies while in the area. I have monitored it since 9/11. I believe it is used as a training area for refueling. Anyone have an comments on this?

I know the area you're speaking of. I hear them go out there but I think it's a good bit south of Long Island because I hear the McGuire tankers checking in with ZDC-Casino and Sea Isle when they use that area. There is another area close to the Patuxent River NAS often used by ANG and Navy units for refueling that doesn't seem to be on the map either. I know they don't go all the way out to AR-636 when they refuel in that area and it's coordinated with Pax, not with Giant Killer.
