Moto HT-1250 question

My HT 1250 (VHF) at times will not receive audio if there isn't a 1 or 2 second delay between received transmissions.

I can see the signal strength go up on the display, but there is no audio unless I hit the TX button, or there is sufficient delay.

Anyone have any ideas? Radio works great otherwise.

Fireware issue. What version of firmware is in the radio? Some DPL tones cause issues too.

Not sure on the firmware, and I'm not using any PL at all.
