Motorola all band antenna for HP-2

Does anyone know if a motorola all band antenna will be compatible with a Homepatrol-2 or SDS100? I know the connector for the antenna is QMA. I already found an adapter for to switch to SMA.

If you had the correct adapters, sure, it'll work.

Danger is that a stiff antenna with added adapters puts strain on the already weak antenna connectors on most scanners.

Only the mobile radios use QMA, the APX8000 portable antenna is a SMA. Exactly which 'all band' antenna are you considering?
