Motorola Scanner?

Wow, I've never heard of those before. I wonder if it's a rugged as the motorola portables, it would be nice to have a scanner that can stand up to the kind of abuse the real Motorola radios do.

The AP50 and CP50 were advertised in some ham radio hams in the late 90s, I almost bought one. Sort of like the SP50 class of radio.

The AP was amataur & CP was for the commerical band. I'm sure there is more on google.

The issue is that it's keyboard programmable with tx capability across it's entire frequency range. It makes a poor scanner, btw, as do most commercial tranceivers.
