Greetings All...

With yet another VHF band-opening tonight, I am hearing what sounds like MOTOTRBO digital traffic on 156.1650. I am pretty sure I have logged MOTOTRBO traffic on another Public Safety frequency earlier in the year (Although, I can't find my listing at the moment).

Any ideas where it's originating from?

My only guess is possibly WI-Gas (We-Energies Gas Division?) from the fox valley area. It's pretty active even at this time of the night (Sunday Night at 1130pm).

Can anyone up in Outagamie/Winnebago County area confirm anything on 156.1650 (PL 146.2).

WE Energeies in the Fox Valley area uses DPL 712 on 156.165. They seem to have switched DPL on all their VHF frequencies around here. I'm working on finding them. I know they use D712 on some of their gas channels and D664 on some of their electric channels.

Thanks Marcus for ruling them out. I found the other freq I have heard M-Turbo on ...its 151.0850. I have been hearing it off and on for last couple weeks here from Milwaukee area. Could be Caledonia DPW on 156.165, but 151.0850 is not licensed to Caledonia so the mystery continues.

Heard the TRBO on 156.165 this morning when conditions were up.

156.165 is Caledonia PD; DPW is on 453.3125. Is anyone hearing Caledonia on 156.165 analog?

Greetings all....

Actually....Caledonia, Sturtevant and MT Pleasant police are all on 155.6850 now. I suppose that Caledonia Police could be using 156.1650 as a chit-chat channel still.

The funny thing is that I have heard 156.1650 sometimes later at night with lots of traffic so I am guessing it's not DPW.

Caledonia PD's 156.165MHz repeater has a Multi-PL panel using 2 PL tones, 114.8 and 91.5 (153.935MHz input)
