• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

I don't know if this has been a problem for others but I cannot get the Multi-Quote feature to work on the forums.

I am using Firefox 3.6.20 ... and have also tried Internet Explorer with no success.

When i click on the Multi-Quote thing ... nothing happens at all.

The regular quote part works fine.

Maybe someone can describe the procedure to use the Multi-Quote in case I am doing something wrong ?

It works fine for me (using FireFox as well).

You need to first click the multi-quote button on each post you wish to include (the black lines turn red once the button has been clicked), then click the regular quote button from the any post and they will all show up as individual quotes in the reply box.

NOTE: The post that you click the regular quote button from will be included regardless of whether or not you selected it as a multi-quote.
