Getting some really weak traffic on 3455. I can just barely make out the dialog but the radio operator is male. Sounds English but I can't tell if this is someone from Honolulu or elsewhere.

I have a weird 'whine' on this frequency so I'm having to use the notch filter heavily to filter it out. Otherwise, it's hard to park it on this freq and monitor.

I'm hearing a lot of selcalls so it's a very active frequency at the moment.

Here's that nice big chart with all the frequencies. It seems to have got lost but gooooogle is my friend!

You' have to "cut'n'paste" unless you trust your typing!

I think the 'whine' my be a bit of residual carrier - i have the same problem here with Nadi Fiji Radio on 8867 but not all the time - perhaps he has one of his transmitter not adjusted quite right. It's a shocker on his selcal - the carrier is bigger than the modulation!
I think the NY station is using Harris transmitters and Cubic receivers so they will be pretty new.

Yes, it's part of the CAR-B freq group. It's also a CWP frequency. I didn't hear anything conclusive either way other than some bits of English here and there. I heard altitudes and some other items but never a location or even a flight number. It was very weak.
