My BC350C Uniden scanner

Hi,
I am new to this forum and have some questions about my scanner.

I purchased this scanner about 11 years ago. I used it a bit and it never really seemed that great. After all these years I came across it and set it up. I hardly get any good channels and just a bunch of static, especially the police channels. It has an antenna on the back, not sure what kind will have to ask my hubby. Anyway, any suggestions?

Well most likely it's a BC350A, but should work the same. Have you adjusted the squelch control? Are you sure your frequencies are up to date? Take a look at this link:
