My Radio Shack PRO 2018

I need to get and download My area Fire Police ect. for this model How do I get it. I just paid $35 for the cord and $30 For this service dont tell me it was all a waste of money!!

RadioShack PRO-2018 Desktop Scanner Support Pages 1st it isn't a computer programmable or trunk tracking scanner.

Agreed it isn't a trunk tracking scanner, but the support pages do say it is computer programmable. Not sure which software program you would need for this particular scanner though.

This is Scancat-lite-plus. Never used it never will but It is listed to program this scanner.

As will ProLink...although why anyone would want to program such a simple radio with a PC is really a question...best regards...Mike

Scancat Lite Plus will program this just fine I think you use a setting for the Pro 82. The site will confirm this, Have used this for several years. On sale now.
