I keep bcd966p2 off Because I felt like listening to fire and medical on my bc365crs annd I keep other off because when I go out of the house go somewhere I turn my handheld on and listen to it
Nice set...but no use having them if they aren't on. And, yeah, I see your post about it but I am sitting here with 6 on next to me so...power those babies up!

Also the other reason i don’t have bcd996p2 on because I want to listen to RPD but all I hear mostly is buses trash garbage guys more then the police on the trunking freqs soo I got tired of it soo I leave that scanner off everyday other reason I dont have handheld on because I want to saved the batteries
That makes it sound like you need to program the scanner better. Sounds like you need to program what talk groups you want to listen to, like the police, and not those, like the buses and the garbage trucks etc., that you don’t. That’s just a programming issue...

I had the BC-365CLT and whenever you turned it up louder, it made a popping sound on the speaker as if it couldn't handle the audio, even had a 2nd one and it did the same thing and returned them both to Amazon. I now(2 years later), only use a Bearcat BCD-996P2, a great base and PROBLEM free too but nice set-up, buddy-enjoy

Where can I get the programming software for bcd996p2 and bcd325p2 soo I can fixed program those freqs soo I can only hear the police ?

Uh, no. Uniden doesn't provide software to program the BCD996P2 or BCD325P2.
Uniden DMA Software Support - The RadioReference Wiki
ARC XT, Proscan, and Freescan are the options. None of those are published by Uniden.
My recommendation would definitely be Proscan. Worth every penny.

Yeah I meant to delete that line after I pasted in the other. That's what I get for being in a hurry and not proofing.
Free" is in the name but that's about it. It's not really free. It may cost more in terms of time and time is money to a lot of folks. Also the database functions are inadequate or non functional.

That's like saying you like your VW that you got for free even though it overheats, leaks oil, has no A/C, etc. I'll gladly take my Harley or Mercedes (perhaps bought at next to nothing cost) on a road trip over a VW anyday.
Deep breath, Bob - we know your software is awesome. And I mean that seriously and sincerely. Not everyone is going to use it, though. Keep doing you and providing great software.
