My Simple Shack

Here is my humble little shack. Takes up a small corner of my desk and gives me plenty of enjoyment.

MFJ-8100 "World Radio"
MFJ-8400 2 Meter Receiver
MFJ-1020A Active Antenna
MFJ Amplified Speaker
GRE PSR-500 Scanner/800Mhz Antenna
Grundig G6
Grundig G3
Grundig Mini 400
Grundig Mini 300

The "mini" Grundigs are for daily carry depending on pocket size and the G6 or G3 get used for travel on weekend or week long trips. None of them come close to the reception I get with the MFJ regenerative World Radio though. Just using the antennas shown for now but will string up something better for the SW and the 2 meter later this spring.

Thanks guys. They provide plenty of fun. The scanner is usually with me wherever I am in the house as it provides the most listening. I can always find something interesting on the SW rig and most nights around 10:00pm there is a local chat on the 2 meter rig.

The PSR-500 is programmed with all the local stuff and I can swap it with the frequencies at the shore when we vacation there in the summer.

Lots of fun to be had with this stuff.
