Racking up mobile scanners and radios looks nice. One of these days I need to do the same.

I've always wondered how many zip ties a setup like that uses. :geek:
I'm Getting 2 6 foot 19" computer racks for free so those will hold everything (after 20 hours of work LOL) that's on the current shelves

I have been looking at those AV 19" cases on casters. Nice, but ?

If you plan on putting the cabinet on a desk or table then ditch the casters, get flat feet instead. You don't want it rolling off and crashing to the floor. Not that I have ever had that happen before...

If it is going to be on the floor something like this would be fine for racking radios you would not often interact with directly, otherwise they would only be easily accessible to the cat. Look to a 42u type fridge sized cabinet and mount the radios at eye level. Be sure to ballast the bottom with the power supply or other equipment to keep it from getting top-heavy.
