Has anybody noticed that the Nashua New Hampshire PD/FD frequencies have been quiet? I have not heard a single call today. Any info on this would be appreciated. Thanks!

And do you have these freqs. programmed? Nashua Trunking System, Nashua, New Hampshire - Scanner Frequencies

Yes and yes. It is strange. Last weekend there was no traffic on the frequencies. this week I am only hearing them during the day. At night it goes silent. I am wondering if they may be doing work on their system at night and powering down the repeater or using an alternative freq.

This is very strange. It receives perfectly well with my mobile antenna, but no longer with the portable. I even went out and purchased a new portable antenna and still the same problem. This all seemed to start when I upgraded the firmware on the scanner last week. BTW my scanner is a Uniden Home Patrol.

Of course there is no way to revert the firmware, so I cant test my theory.

I paid careful attention to this frequency when I was in my car. As soon as I pulled into my driveway, no more Nashua. It seems my area has suddenly become a dead zone.
