Nashville System

I was in Nashville and listened to Nashville police-fire system.
I thought the sound was poor. I have a BCD396 and had to adjust it up to 13-14 for the audio to sound good so I could listen.

Is this normal for this system? I thought I had a pretty good signal most of the time.

Was this with newest firmware upgrade?
I upgraded the firmware and wish I had not as Nash degraded for me also.
I will have to spend more time to make more precise adjustments to get it back.

Yes this was with the newest version. It has also affected my listening in Indiana, seems to affect mostly 3600 Baud systems. I wish Uniden would travel the country and not test on just Texas systems, because there3 are reports of bad audio here and there, but lost on Uniden in my opinion. I did not get any motorboating while in Nashville, but I do get it in Indiana.

Recent Nashville Visit Also

I was recently in Nashville also, May 26-28. I was surprised at the quality of the system also. I have the Pro96 handheld. I was also surprised that I got no response from some of the other sites around Nashville. I did not get any hist for the LTR systems with my Pro96 handheld.
