I found out recently by looking at licensing (via TAFL and MapRad) that NB Power has an entire digital radio network that isn’t listed anywhere on RadioReference in the 400 MHz range. Looking to see if anyone has any details on this network. MapRad.Io Link (NB Power)

It is all registered as digital 400MHz frequencies. I’ll try decoding these in a little bit, just checking to see if anyone else has information on this and would happen to know what system they use. (I.e P25 P1/2, NXDN Digital… etc)

I know nothing about it, but I'm assuming they're following suit with NS and PEI with a DMR Tier 3 Capacity Max trunking system. Just a guess, but I'd start there.

Thanks for these I've been trying to track down NB Power for a while. I've added favourites for my nearest towers on that list and will try monitoring them with my SDR.

Had the following info submitted to the database. However it was lacking info such as system ID. Placing it here so hopefully others can fill in the blanks and I can get this added to the database.

New Brunswick Electric Power Corporation (NBEPC)
DMR Tier 3 Capacity Max System

I have about 4 towers in which I've heard traffic on, in the 400Mhz Range within the Fredericton Area, I have noticed there are about a few dozen other towers most of which are the same sites at the MPSRN ones.

The range of these towers is about 25 Km. I do not have information about control channels. Each tower also has an analog repeater for areas not covered by this trunking system (aka the 142.815 and 138.735 analog frequencies).

Looks like it hasn't been monitored at all and the submission was made up of info from TAFL hence the input frequencies to the repeaters being listed.

There's 2 UHF systems, separate from each other. They have remote environmental monitoring stations that use UHF SCADA to report back things like SO2, Particulate Matter, Wind, Water levels etc.

Some of the larger generating stations use UHF radios on site for operations.

Transmission operations are still on VHF (CSQ).
