I am going to visit my son in Pasadena MD 21122 and want to listen to my scanner while I am there. the only freqs I can find are that of Anne Arundel County. does Pasadena have their own PD/FIRE freqs. interested in any/all frequencies. any help would be appreciated. Thank You!

Pasadena has no separate Fire/PD frequencies. You would have to import the Anne Arundel County System. Eastern District covers Pasadena.

In addition you will need a digital trunktracker; the police are digital, fire is straight analog 73 Mike

llwade, just an additional FYI on your visit: Not many "cities" exist in Maryland. Other than Baltimore, Annapolis, Cumberland & Laurel, the rest are not much more than zip codes. (no offense to the many holdouts in Prince George's, but really?) wiki qupte: "Under Maryland law, counties exercise powers reserved in most other states at the municipal or state levels, so there is little incentive for a community to incorporate."

thank you for the info. rather strange to me though. we in illinois have separate towns, separated by
farmland then the next town. it sounds as if you have no separation of towns, just a line drawn in the
sand and refered to as a zip code

The East Coast, like from Connecticut to Virginia, is pretty much one metro area, not at all like what you see when flying over the Midwest. Or, put another way, nowhere near as much green space as exists "Out West."

Pasadena doesn't have it's own freqs. You should load the anne arundel county freqs. It's great always lots going on.

Just for the record, the second largest city in Maryland is Rockville, with the largest, of course, being good old Baltimore. The largest unincorporated "area" is Silver Spring.

You can listen to Anne Arundel County fire dispatch on 154.04 and reponses on 154.34.
