Need help with 796d

I have a question related to the 796D.

I need to "ID Search" one bank with a Motorola System in it..."ID Search" another bank with an Edacs Wide system in it...and "ID SCAN" an additional bank with a Moto system in it.

Can this be done or is the ID Search/ID Scan selection a global thing (one or the other, but not a mix)?

Hey drunyon,
To change to do an ID Search, just hold in the trunk button on the
keypad and it will change from ID Scan to ID Search and it will search
for the TGID's you are trying to find. I too own a 796.

Both Functions are global. Would be nice if it were otherwise.

Thank you...that's what I was afraid of. Looks like the 996's will solve my dilemma.
