I am trying to connect my rigblaster to a CDM1250. I have ensured proper pin layout w/ my RJ45 cable, however I cannot get the computer to link with the rigblaster. According to device manager, the rigblaster (through the serial to usb cable) is assigned to com port 8. However, with the rigblaster provided WinPSK software, com port 8 is grayed out and un-selectable. Also with the echostation software it gives me an error message that there is no connection. I have re-installed the drivers several time.

I was wondering if anyone has had any similar issues or have any ideas.

Thanks

Is that software used for Ham? If so, the Amateur Radio forum here might be a more appropriate place to post this...;)

If this is for a feed, why use a Rigblaster?

Why not connect directly per this:

That is what the Rail Road feed owners do.
