I am getting a new computer and will have to re install ALL of my programs. I have seemed to have LOST the drivers that I will need to connect my scanners to new computer. I need drivers for BCD996P2, BCT15X & SDS200 I have all the cables. If someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks....

I would assume any new computer will have Win 10.
So, you shouldn't have to download any drivers. It should be PnP.
(serial is a normal com port - mass storage is a basic disk mount...)

Uniden's serial drivers are needed.
I just purchased a new Windows 10 computer this year.I have had no problem running software, both Uniden’s and Butel’s ARC programs for the SDS series, the BCDx36HP, BCD996XT, BCD325P2 without having to manually install drivers. That’s not to say Windows 10 didn’t need additional drivers but If It did, it got them automatically, behind the scenes, without any interaction with me. If I got notices saying things like “Searching for the best drivers” and then “Please wait while your drivers are being installed”, I don’t recall it.

Windows 10 latest version does a very good job of finding drivers.. I have a Pro 106 with the original programing cable, and after installing the
Arc 500, the drivers were found as soon as I plugged the cable in. Hopefully you will have as good an experience. The Pro 106 is just one of at least 17 radio programming software I installed without problems.

I can't speak specifically for the SDS200 but I've used my SDS100 on numerous new Windows installs & no drivers were ever needed for the radio to be recognized by Sentinel, Proscan, etc. Just like any USB drive, plug & play

OK Thats good to know because I really dont remember what I did as far as downloading and installing drivers. Well I am hoping that the hard drive (ssd) in the computer I am using now will boot up in the new(er) computer. Then I wont have to deal with drivers for the radios. But I am preparing for the worst case.

+1 with what everyone said here as far as Win10. When I transitioned to a new PC Win 10 found everything I needed. Just be patient and let the installer work on one program at a time during install.

I believe they all use the same driver. Unless you use them for live monitoring, (serial mode) you won't need drivers for the 200 and maybe the 996P2. The BCT15 - I think the driver is needed for the cable, not the scanner.

The Scannermaster links are a good start.
