Need Some Help With Programing my anytone 878uv For dmr Police around me

Hi i might have put this in the wrong place but, it seemed the best to me to ask, im trying to get bucyrus ohio and crawford county sheriff to listen to on dmr, I have a anytone 878uv, and i no it is possible, but, seems im doing something wrong, I have the color code, but thats it, will i need the dmr number does anyone no? any help would be greatly appreciated, god bless, Bill WC8I

In general...
After programming a channel for each of the frequencies in use, enable two slot promiscuous mode.
Channel needs CC, TG and TS, but any one will do. Promiscuous mode will show the correct information when they transmit assuming encryption is not used. I'm not sure how well the 878 will do on a trunked system. Others likely to chime in with more/better information.

Be sure to select digital when programming and the color code helps but you can set the talk group to "any". I've been monitoring local law enforcement over 4 years on my 868uv and recently upgraded to an 878UVII plus. The reception is great even in the hills of Arkansas! I also just added the Nagoya NA 701 8 inch whip and it's a big improvement.

I’m late seeing this thread, but if you’re still having trouble I can look at your codeplug (or send you a sample). I am not in range of Crawford county, but I have an 878 that I’ve programmed for plenty of business/public safety DMR stuff with good success. As long as they’re not encrypted and you’re in range, the 878 should work fine.
