Nellis AFB trunk traffic

Hi all,
Been having a problem with an old Pro 96 receiving the Nellis system. I have finally heard encrypted squawk on PD, and FD tg's, on the LV DOE site, but thats it. There has to be more than that activity on that system in the last couple days. The question I have is, is that system very active? I dont think my old RS is likin that system for some reason. I have no problems on other trunked system in town, just that one. I have tried all sites, and only the DOE site sorta works for me.

Best advise go back over your programmed channels especially the control channels. I don't see anything in the manual for adjusting "Digital Detect Timeout"? Maybe on the configuration tab WIN-96? I use a GRE PSR-500 same as a Pro-106. Win-500 allows you to change that setting from default 60. I use 30. Some here have compared the two scanners on Digital systems and had similar issues with the Pro-96. Check page 90-91 in the manual Trunk Delay setting. That might help if you change how long the scanner dwells on the control channel?

Hey guys i've seen alot of scanner Freqs on the web site Dreamland Resort area 51 lots on Trunked systems an tower locations you might find interesting. I'm not a Alien Hunter just into black projects.
