I am planing to buy a RS Pro96, I've been using a Pro94 but it seems that all agencies in Macomb have gone digital, is that correct? Is the Pro 96 a good choice?

Yes, the pro-96 is a good choice for the current configuration of the system.

If you can wait about another month, I would suggest waiting for the PSR-500. It's due out around mid October and will add some features you might need in the future (i.e. 700 Mhz support).
