New CHP map available

The old URL for my old map was hosted on a server in my garage that was destroyed in the CZU Lightning Complex fires. I finally had some time today and revamped the whole map using a new source of CHP office boundary information and corrected some of the known errors in the previous map. Now available at: http://fcc.matthew.at/CHP.kml

Tested in Google Earth.

The link is working, @KG7PBS, check your downloads area in your browser. You should have a CHP.kml file there. It is a Google Earth coordinate file. If you have Google Earth installed, you can open it and see the boundaries (and areas), as @ka6sqg described.

Clicking on it directly in Firefox yields a "File not downloaded: Potential security risk" error because that site uses HTTP instead of HTTPS and Firefox apparently now disallows it by default. I tried it with Edge and Chrome, both of which worked. Perhaps someone can put it up somewhere that has HTTPS available (with permission of @ka6sqg, of course).

For CHROME:
1. Right-click over the link "Save Link As..."
2. At the bottom of the browser click the /\ symbol (to the right of the "cant be downloaded securely" -prompt)
3. Click "Keep"

Make sure the file it saved works. If you do "Save as..." in Firefox 107.0.1, it saves a 0-length file. You have to open the downloads window, click on the warning, then click on "Allow download" to get it.

However, I clicked on the red right-arrow on the download dialog (which was showing that message), and selected "download the file anyway", and it downloaded just fine. That's with current Firefox.

The downloaded KMZ file may also be opened in "ExpertGPS".
FWIW, I discovered I could then save as a GPX file which appears the same as the KMZ once opened.

For some reason the forum links to a pop-up which then doesn't load, but if you copy and paste the URL it works fine.
