The city of Dayton, was recently awarded a trunking new license: WQGP313. This is for a three-channel UHF TRS, located in Vandalia. Is this a new system for the airport?

No firmware updates are needed - the 396 will get this system right out of the box...

What do you mean by update? Do you mean just entering a new TRS into your radio?
I assume that's what you're suggesting.

460.4625 is ch10 on the Dayton Trunked System.

Are you talking about the system being discussed here or something else? The one linked here only has 3 frequencies, and the City of Dayton trunked system is on 800MHz...

860.4625 if Ch 10 on the Dayton System...sorry, one typo can really confuse things. Dayton Airport is on the Dayton 800 system. Not sure what you would have heard on 460.4625, but if you are hearing Airport police, you may be picking up some type of harmonics. 854.2125 is now the new Dayton Airport conventional repeater freq (since it was rebanded two months ago). However there is not much traffic on that repeater. It is a back up in the event the Dayton 800 System should ever go down.
