New Fire, EMS and Government PPSTN Talkgroups

We'll use this thread for posting any new confirmed and unconfirmed talkgroups that would coincide with Fire, EMS or the Government of Saskatchewan.

Unfortunately, I hadn't been using my scanner, but a radio on the PPSTN so I hadn't been monitoring any new talkgroups.

Tonight at around 2030, tgid: 5405 popped up. The conversation was taking place in the area between Sedley and Francis along Highway 33. These could be First Responders or Fire, but not EMS. No RID was attained.

Hearing strictly testing on tgid: 599 this morning.

Weyburn EMS is on tgid: 5448 and they are moved over to the system entirely.

Heard Weyburn EMS tg again this morning. They are using the same tone outs on the P25 system as they were on FleetNet. That being the warble, pulse, etc. Doesn't quite sound the same though.

Weyburn Fire also has a separate EMS radio in their trucks by the sounds of things.

At 1920 I have tgid: 6000 popping up as encrypted. CPSP said that only the RCMP and Municipal Policing would be permitted to have encrypted talkgroups, unless this is an encrypted hospital talkgroup. No RID attained.

Awesome find. Do you want to post the RID's you have and have not identified? Just compare those to other RID's I've seen pop up on the system.

Heard MJ EMS City 1 in Regina at around 2303 hrs. Slowly but surely, all of my FleetNet listening is dwindling away around me.

Just had TGID: 5041 pop up. It was an EMS talkgroup however I'm not sure which service it is associated with. I'm wondering if it's possibly Cupar, Lestock or Fort Qu'Appelle. There was talk of being en route to House Number something on the something Reserve. Just have to keep listening to find out.

Moose Jaw Alpha 2 was calling 36 on tgid: 5370 however they switched back over to CITY 1. Not sure if 5370 might be a Hospital Talkgroup then.

Also heard traffic on tgid: 6045 however there was nothing to identify who was talking and there only seemed to be one individual talking on the radio.

Radio Techs in Oungre and Minton Areas today...changes

Radio techs were at Oungre and Minton Towers near US border today, changes CC at Oungre tower, didn't notice any other CC changes thusfar. I submitted some new Sites,CC's, etc yesterday, watch for them.

TGID: 5414 was heard in Regina about a minute go. Swift Current EMS Unit 25 cleared from Regina. 5414 confirmed as Swift EMS.

Heard TGID: 5040 today. Missed the unit call sign, but it is an EMS Service as they were 10-7ing at RGH.

Heard TGID:6045 yesterday morning, heard the traffic, but missed the display at the time. I figured it would be 6045. Heard it again this morning and it is in fact a a Government of Saskatchewan talkgroup. I'm not sure if it is Highway Transport Patrol or Conservation Officers though.
