New Fire Equipment-Shepherds Town

Jefferson Fire Headquarters just announced that a new unit was placed in service today by the Shepherdstown VFD. It will be called "Rescue Engine 3". They listed all of the features, however I did not have time to list them. Needless to say it sounds like quite a monster, really "heavy rescue".

I volunteered there from 1968-1971 while a student at Shepherd. The department has come a long way since then.
