New FOX affiliate coming to Hattiesburg

There is a new fox affiliate coming to Hattiesburg, Ms. It will be a low power station, with the transmitter in Oak Grove.

I noticed it this weekend. It is on Ch. 23. It is owned by WGBC in meridian.

WHPM's tower is located on Old Hwy. Across from Temple Baptist,
is a low power TV staton (ERP 8.4 kw) is owned by the same company as WGBC. Looks like they have no HD playout yet, I hope they upgrade soon.

That station has been there for quite a while, right? Maybe it was a different ch before.. I installed one of them, most likely the same one..

Yes it was there, I'm not sure what it was before. The Meridian company purchased it this year, but I do know they have been working on that deal for a while.
