new id on jefferson county simulcast site

can anyone help id this talk group 40401.
Its a law enforcement agency hearing tag checks etc .
based on the series i am thinking its a chilton county agency.
just heard a 200 series number according to my old info 200 series was clanton pd.
i dont know if radios are in range of the jeffco sites cause normally they should not pop up. will have to investigate further.

I started hearing this during race week. Sounds like ALEA.

It's state troopers. I heard "G George" being called and also Jacksonville State. Checking stranded cars in the interstate, etc. etc.

I can confirm that Tlk Grp 40401 is the ALA. State Troopers. Just heard a crash dispatched on ALA Hwy. 22.

that's right at one time there was talk of closing down the Birmingham radio room and letting JAX state post handle it.
I do know at one time Decatur post was dispatching for the Huntsville post.. Was told they had separate rooms/ dispatch centers for each post in the same office.
