There's another one in South Jersey and Eastern PA. It'll cost you $200.00 a year! There are plenty of others that are free to use with permission of the owner. Some have great coverage, some don't.

Goosetown/MicTalk basically covers the area pretty well. Now of course if someone wanted to throw up a free system...That would make for some interesting competition.

"Jersey Coastal Alert" using 462.700 GMRS. They were working on a repeater ID'd as Montclair and talked about the 700 build out. Don;t know much about the outfit, just thought I'd put it out there. Repeater sounded strong over in Morris County.

How far into New York does the repeater network go? Especially, upstate NY

There's one already you can join for $50 a year. Coverage from Ocean County up to Northern NJ and up into NY State.
Could you please give me the repeater's channel and frequency. Thank you. WRYW480
