New Metrolinx Tower - Milton GO

Despite the TAFL showing a site utilizing a 70M tower "in service" since 2019, there's now what appears to be a Metrolinx site just a few hundred meters west of the Milton GO station. The structure is definitely in the 70M AGL range and went up 3 weeks ago. So far it's only sporting 2 omni antennas and has numerous microwave mounting points but to date no antenna hardware on them. I haven't driven to the base of it to see if there's an equipment shelter in place or not.

Is it similar to the tower at the GO bus barn in Streetsville?

Yes, and like Appleby, Puslinch etc., just not populated fully yet.

A quick update on this one, the microwave antenna on the Milton tower is aimed further towards north than I first thought and a quick check online would put it aimed towards the Metrolinx licenced site at 11620 Trafalgar Rd in Halton Hills which is the Town of Halton Hills Public Works facility. Checking Google street view there is in fact what looks like a Metrolinx tower in the back of that yard, so I'd assume it's the correct radio link.
