TRX-1: New problem

I got the new SD card working on my desk computer but when I tried it on my laptop it said the SD card was not formatted and told me to do about three steps including re-formatting my new SD card. I really don't want to mess things up before I go on vacation. Any suggestions?

You must format and prepare the SD card using EZ Scan, it does not work properly using your computer.

After formatting the card, go to the Scanner/SD Card tab in EZ-Scan and click on Prepare Scanner Memory/SD Card for use.

It is working fine with my desktop! My concern (question) is why does my laptop tell me to reformat, etc. again?

EZ Scan is obviously how I did it ON MY DESKTOP COMPUTER but on my laptop 'computer' it doesn't work.

Good question. I have a busy day but will try soon. I actually uninstalled EZ Scan and will download it again on the laptop only.

Windows 10 on the desktop and 11 on the laptop.

I'm so out of practice. There are 7 downloads for the TRX1. Do I do only the CPU updater?

I'll double check but I think I did all updates. I did put EZ Scan on the laptop by using a flash drive from the desktop. It seems to work but I can't do the Copy From Scanner to computer. I get this message on the laptop.

Open the SD card on your PC and it should have a CDAT folder. ITs possible it doesn't. If that is the case then you will need to format the SD card in EZscan

I'll try that but I suspect it's on the desktop and not the laptop which is my concern. I just don't want to mess up all the work I've done on the desktop loading things for my vacation. If I format the card on the laptop everything will be erased which would be a disaster.
