new radio shack antenna ?

i purchased a new antenna from rad shack today model # 20-034 . it's alittle over 9 inches long, and covers 27-50 mhz, 138-174 , 400-512 and 806-940 mhz. it seems to work well on all bands, and i can hear the air traffic from denvers airport about 30 miles east from my location. also works well on local edacs and 800 mhz. state digital system. just curious if anyone else has tried it and how you like it. I'm using it on my pro 96.

Yes, I have had 2 for a few years, and it's an upgrade over any stock duck. The diamond RH77 is better. Only drawback to the 77 is it's 15 inches long. I don't know what scanner you ave, but in the air band (vhf) the 20-006 whip is better. Austin
