New State Digital Radios

I'm looking at getting a new scanner and am interested in being able to pick up the new state digital radios. http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&sid=2315

Any scanner suggestions would be appreciated.

Uniden 396 and 996. I'm not sure if the 296 or 796 will work, I think you have to get one with a digital card or something.

Uniden 396T, 996T, 296D and 796D all work out of the box (after programming of course). A Uniden BC250d (with Card) or a BC785d (with Card) will work also, if you can find one. The RS Pro-96 or 2096 will work but you must also purchase Don Starr's Win96 software (and a cable) to program them, they cannot be programmed by hand for the SD System due to the multi-table setup required for the VHF trunking.

We live in Nebraska, we have a 996 with SD programed, works great. In fact this weekend there was a a lot of cops chasing a van at over 100 mph headed our way, if they got with in ten miles we were going to get off the road, the clown was nuts. We would have never known unless we had the digital. Spend the bucks, it could be well worth it, besides you might want to know where the buffalo are at in Custer State Park!!
