I’ve scanned for years and just picked up TG i6009426. I’ve NEVER seen a TG starting with a lower case “i” and never a 7 digit number. Can someone shed some light on this for me?
I’m listening from home in Ishpeming, Michigan and the only thing said was “it’s downriver somewhere”.

When a new system was being set up in my area and if a RID shows up normal than one day there was some testing on iCall and I was running DSDPlus doesn't show "i". On scanner it will show a "i" with a RID. If you hear a voice on RID and say if it is PD or FD or whom ever you can name it and when iCall shows up it should have the name of the RID.

First digit is the unit's MPSCS 'home' zone. Followed by county number. Odds / evens designate mobile / portable (can't recall which way is which).

This was the original plan. It's kinda fallen apart when they ran out of numbers to use following that format.

That's a phone conversation. One radio unit calling to another. One of those radio's that has a phone key pad on it.
