In this past week's license grants, the Town of Cicero was granted a modification for the license WIK779, which covered their 476.7625 analog repeater. The license now covers a public safety trunked system, narrowband FM and P25 on 476.7625, 477.200 and 477.500.

Someone had recently posted about Cicero's 453 MHz repeaters. If I could have found that post I would have added this information to it.

Was in Cicero this past weekend, and I got nothing from the new freqs. I gotta say though, I find it hard to believe that the police are going to use this analog(?) system considering they're still very much active on their ENC (15-bit Scrambled) NXDN system.
