I grew up in the Oak Lawn area. During my youth, I was an avid scanner listener so this is why I'm glad I found this site. I now live in Southern California and could not receive IL frequencies on a regular scanner. I have two questions:
1. Why do I get the constant clicking sound when there are no transmissions? Starting to drive me crazy.
2. What is the best site to receive this type of streaming audio of police/fire frequencies? Is there one better than radio frerence?
