NHP and EDACS

I've been hearing that EDACS is going to be going away. Does anyone have any time frame on this and know what's being considered for NHP?

Where did you hear that from? I have my doubts about that happening given the budgetary problems that the State of Nevada is experiencing. Major budget cuts are continuing for Nevada agencies including NV DPS & NDOT (the owner of the EDACS system).

I had read on another posting here in RR that the entire EDACS system was being dissolved for all agencies that use it. Maybe I read it wrong, but it mentioned that the EDACS system was going away, wouldn't be available to new users and current users wouldn't be supported anymore. I know the state has budgetary issues so moving to a new system is out of the question for the foreseeable future. I may have just misunderstood the other posting.
