Anyone having issues with the niagara cty public safety p25 signal? I had my SDs-100 replaced 3 days ago and have not been able to pick it up like i used to. I have a omni X antenna on the roof which would pick it up fairly well. I have only had a handful of transmissions over the past 3-4 days. I have it programmed exactly like my sds-100 that was returned as it was programmed via sentinel

i discovered something interesting that might help others. Since putting up the omni-x antenna outside last year i would get the niagara cty signal at 1-2 bars. So, i loaded all Niagara cty frequencies as a conventional channel then turned on the IFX for each freq. The signal on every one jumped to 4-5 bars for past 3 days now and i have no issues picking up the signal. I will experiment with other freq when i have some time but so far it is a huge improvement. Now if i can only get Cattarugus cty...

Catt Co comes in terrible for me, and I'm closer. Like to the point where I can barely decode the CC in DSD with a halfway decent setup (IMO). Over the last few weeks, it's been slightly stronger, but still, not strong enough to even track or reliably decode the CC. Guess it's really well designed to keep that signal in the county. I'm able to get SaiaNet - Little Valley pretty good, and SaiaNet - Perrysburg great, where Catt Co TRS has a site at. Different band and design of course, but I'd think I'd be able to get it halfway decent in the Southtowns.

The last week i have been pulling in catt county DATA channel 154.88250 at full signal. However, i do not hear a peep from the other channels. IT is kind of weird since the control channel is at full signal -50 rssi. Everything i have tried from antennas to amps over the past 2 years or so has not been able to get me catt county p25. I can pick up the analog fire dispatch at -45 rssi loud and clear. I hope someday Chautaqua cty adds a patch to their system since they come booming in strong

Yes, I've noticed it's stronger over the last week or two, specifically the Control Channel, but for some reason, even with it being stronger, I'm getting really poor decoding of it, and obviously not able to track the Voice Channels then. Yes, Chautauqua Co comes in pretty good here too.
